Greenland Volunteer Fire Department's Newest
Engine
It has arrived!
The GVFD recently took delivery and put into service a
2007 Smeal engine. This engine replaces a 20+ year old engine.
Features include:
- Enclosed cab for firefighters. This safety
feature is essential and required.
- 1,000 gallon water tank
- 1,000 feet of 4 inch supply hose
The engine was on display during our October 13th Open
House and Ham & Bean Supper. The GVFD thanks the Town of Greenland for
its continued support of the Fire Department. If you missed the Ham &
Bean Supper and would like to see the new engine please stop by the Fire
Station for a tour.
